Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

After booting my HP NC8000 laptop PC, I place a data CD in my laptop's
CD drive and go to Places--> Computer and double-click on the CD-RW/DVD-
ROM Drive shortcut. When I do this, I get the following error message:

Unable to mount location
Can't mount file

There is also a DBus error message that pops up when I place a data disc
in the CD drive.

I also cannot open DVD or CD Audio discs and get the same error as
above:

Unable to mount location
Can't mount file

This error has been reported several times with users running Ubuntu
8.10, please see the following posts:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1118041&highlight=unable+mount+CDROM

I have attached the output of lspci and dmesg to this report, please
update with any additional logfile/information you need.
