I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo with this "poor" Intel 2200BG (CALEXICO 2)
wireless chip. Both FS and Intel sites are poor on Linux ( they're stuck last
century...). I followed some of the Intel recom. like firmware load etc
...etc... to no avail. I even tried to install with the Windows Lan driver
Utility. Something worked... the card is recognized, but... no way to use it.
Several dumps (dmesg) show errors with the card. Has anyone a clue on where to
find a solution, or... I dump the chip and get an Atheros?
I run 2.6.27-14-generic . Pretty clean and no backports.
