Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

Operating System: UBUNTU Jaunty, rel. 9.04
Using package: "GDM, Installed release: 2.20.10-0ubuntu2
kernel: 2.6.28-11-generic
Gnome: 2.26.1

What I expected to happen:

using the "gdm setup" ( "sudo gdmsetup" ), I was changing the active gdm
theme with the brand new one I've just installed, but after the chabnge
I wanted to completely remove the old gdm-theme, using the button
"Remove" at the right side of the installed theme list, placed in the
"local" menu tab.

What happened instead:

(I've tried this command sequence a lot of time, so now I'm sure this is a
bug!):
every time you remove the previuos activated theme used by gdm (the remove
option become active just after the change of the active selected theme), the
application aborted, closing itself automatically.

This bug do not happen if I remove other gdm themes installed, this bug
happen only if I remove the previous active theme, the one in use until
that moment.

In attachment: the log file of the errors described.
