Same error message as Pasquale (when run in terminal), system upgraded
from 8.10 via update-manager. Checkbox and checkbox-gtk v. 0.7.1. Fails
silently if run from System menu.
$ cat /etc/checkbox.d/checkbox.ini
[DEFAULT]

plugins = checkbox/plugins
registries = checkbox/registries
[checkbox/plugins]
modules = %(checkbox_share)s/plugins
[checkbox/registries]
