Someone mentioned (in a duplicate bug report here on launchpad) that checking/unchecking the edit profile item "show menubar in new windows" and then hitting Apply will work around this issue.
I have tried that and it does NOT work on my installation. I just upgraded to Ubuntu Intrepid. m...@mine:~> konsole --version Qt: 4.4.3 KDE: 4.1.4 (KDE 4.1.4) Konsole: 2.1 I have to select View > Show menubar (to enable showing it) and then select View > Show menubar again (to disable it) in order to make it go away. Also there is some odd scrolling behavior that happens when it's supposed to be hidden and is not actually hidden. I guess this makes sense. -- konsole profile menubar setting is not honored https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/295581 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
