Public bug reported:
Fresh install of jaunty/x86 using one big ext4 partition.
If you select the fsck option, the following message (very) briefly appears at
the bottom of the screen:
mount: / is busy
... and no filesystem is checked.
Similarly, if you start a root shell and try to fsck by hand, you're stymied
quite early on:
# mount -o ro,remount /
mount: / is busy.
The only way i can find that works is to tune2fs -c 28 -C 28 /dev/sda1
and reboot.
This is not exactly "friendly" ...
