Public bug reported:

When I right-click on an email I have the option to create a new To-
Do/Reminder. Even though this is date-based it does not appear in the
calendar. For an item to appear in an calendar you can drag the email
onto the calendar icon (far left pane) and "attach" the email to a new
calendar entry. There should also be the ability to right-click the
email and add a new calendar entry. and/or date-based to-do items
created through the mail interface should also appear in the calendar.
