Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I tried to install Ubuntu 6.10 from the Live CD on a Macintosh Desktop
Machine (733 MHz PowerPC G4). There was already a second empty partition
on the Harddisk. I formatted this with gparted into "linux-swap". Then
the Installer asked, if I want to install on this partition (I said
yes). the partitioning Process was OK. But while installing the system
the installer crashed (on 73% or so).

The program said, I have to post the error messages here.

thank you for helping.
