wicd is kind of dumb (which appears to be smart in case the drivers are dumb
;)).
Anyway, this doesn't make this a network-manager bug. Please provide the info
requested in upstream linux bug report (test with 2.6.29). you can grab vanilla
2.6.29.1 kernel builds from here to test:
