Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
I am using Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope (RC) with Gnome 2.26.1, fresh installation. Trying to go to the adress bar in Nautilus (Ctrl + L), typing "ftp://usern...@server" works, it appears a window asking for the password, like always. But when the Accept button after writing the pass is pressed, a new error window shows up a message like "Nautilus cannot handle 'ftp' places.", and it does not connect. I attach a screenshot os this window. So now it's impossible to mount a remote FTP volume in Nautilus, but using another FTP client there is no problem. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nautilus cannot handle "ftp" places message https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/364084 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
