Binary package hint: acpi-support
For IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad and HP laptops a fix is needed to support
suspend/resume.
Adding (in /etc/default/acpi-support) 'psmouse' to the MODULES list
fixes this.
I suggest a more advanced modules unload/load system:
Before suspend, a list of loaded modules should be processed. If there
are loaded modules which are known to cause problems if they are not
unloaded (such as ipw3945 and psmouse) it should be automatically
unloaded and reloaded on resume.
