** Description changed:
Binary package hint: xorg
In jaunty on acer aspire 5925g with ATI Radeon HD3470 video card and
fglrx (proptietary) display driver, suspend-to-disk doesn't resume
properly.
It either:
* presents you a xorg screen with only the background showing (no windows, no
panels, nothing), no interaction is possible, mouse cursor works (it even
change shapes (arrow-hand-I)), no switching to VT is possible, the new unasked
undocumented Ctrl-Alt-Backspace, that is Alt-SysRq-K (SysRq is PrintScreen),
brings you to a black screen where no further interaction is possible
or
* it brings you directly to a black screen where no further interaction
is possible.
Suspend-to-RAM works like a charm instead.
