The original problem is that package was built a long time ago and for some mysterious reason it decided to install /usr/bin/obmenu with python2.4 interpreter. Also for some reason package wasn't rebuilt since 2007 so a) It still uses /usr/bin/python2.4 as interpreter and b) it wasn't even upgraded during dist-upgrade. I don't like my solution at all - packages shouldn't depend on any python version explicitly..
