** Description changed: After upgrading to Jaunty, and using the binary Nvidia drivers, I am getting the following issue: When shutting down, for 3-4 seconds before turning itself off, the LCD screen on my Thinkpad T61 turns bright white and the edges slowly turn purple, as if it's on fire :) This doesn't happen with the nv driver, only the proprietary ones. This may be a kernel issue.
