** Description changed: Kubuntu 8.10 on a Lenovo X40 laptop. Within 15 minutes after login, the X server crashes bringing me back to the login screen. The time to crash varies but doesn't exceed 15 minutes. I will include the information requested for Question #6617. I am unable to reproduce the problem. It happens when the computer is in use and when it is idle. When I am using it, it seems to happen when I am using the trackpoint, scrolling up while using FireFox 3.x.
