Public bug reported:
updated to 9.04 from 8.10, with VLC and VirtualBox already installed.
After upgrade, they both have unreadable text, looks like the text is
"running" down the windows. See attached screenshot to see what I mean.
Both programs work fine. Since it affects two very different programs,
I have no idea what package is the problem, since its probably not VLC
or VirtualBox. Uninstalling VLC and reinstalling did not fix.
The text can be copied and pasted into another program for a very short-
term solution.
