** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

I frequently get major video corruption with the radeon driver. It seems
to only happen on some boots of the computer, but when it happens it
persists across suspend/resume and hibernate/resume cycles. It's highly
variable, and heavily dependent on a number of factors I haven't
completely characterized, but seems linked to the application displaying
stuff (of course, this might just mean it's linked to what it's
displaying). It happens most frequently and prominently on my external
Dell 2408WFP, but also sometimes on my laptop's display.

A screenshot of the corruption is attached.
