Hello, thanks for taking the time to look into this.
I did a clean install of amd64 5.04 from a shipped disk I got a couple of years
ago. This was a newly built box. I upgraded to amd64 5.10 by changing hoary
to breezy in the package manager. 5.10 was supposed to upgrade by itself, but
it just world not. I got the error message above. So I just downloaded amd64
6.10 and installed it. That went well for a while but now Evolution, Wengo and
some videos crash and I have sent bug reports on that. I am sure I broke if
somehow. I could not get Skype installed or listen to some streaming radio
stations. I now have SUSE 10.2 86_64 with a dual boot and SUSE is working
great so far. This is all very complicated and time consuming and I do
appreciate your efforts.
