I think that it's a ratter important issue as, AFAIK, slapd.conf was the default in Hardy.
Anyway, I migrated my configuration to slapd.d using slaptest. I'm using intrepid packages without slapd.conf at all and it's working. But upgrading still fails : Stopping OpenLDAP: slapd.
