** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg After latest upgrades in friday the 6th, I run into some basic problems with X-sessions. GDM still detects screen resolution correctly (1280x1024) but the real X-session is only 1024x768 (and there aren't any other choises under "System" -> "Screen resolution" than 1024x768, 800x600 and 640x480). I haven't fiddled with /etc/X11/xorg.conf at all since I've done this install (contents of the file later). Since GDM detects the display correctly and uses the correct screen resolution, this seems to be something that broke in latest upgrades (I logged out on friday and now on monday, when X got started again, the problem appearded).
