Compare that to what happens when the power is removed and reattached
without a suspend/resume cycle (which doesn't leave the drive constantly
spinning down):

hdparm -i /dev/sda  
hdparm -B 128 /dev/sda 
hdparm -i /dev/sda  
hdparm -B 254 /dev/sda

hard disk parks regularly after resume - hdparm -B 254 has no effect
