I use ubuntu 8.10. i have tvtuner kworld terminator.
to work i do this in terminal:
sudo vim /etc/modprobe.d/saa7134
type your password, then press "a", then type:
options saa7134 card=65 tuner=54 video_nr=0 vbi_nr=0
alias snd-card-1 saa7134-alsa
options snd-card-1 index=1
install saa7134 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install saa7134; /sbin/modprobe
saa7134-alsa
remove saa7134-alsa { /usr/sbin/alsactl store 0 >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ; };
/sbin/options -r --ignore-remove saa7134-alsa
AND WORK.
I USE KDETV.
Today I ugrade to ubuntu 9.04 and the tvtune stop to work.
I upgrade like this:
To upgrade from Ubuntu 8.10 on a desktop system, press Alt+F2 and type in
"update-manager -d" (without the quotes) into the command box. Update Manager
should open up and tell you: New distribution release '9.04' is available.
Click Upgrade and follow the on-screen instructions.
Other problem: when I restart the pc. not work- the pc log out. I restart but
pc log out.
