Public bug reported:
Installed ubuntu 9.04 beta on a dell latitude D610
Installed perfectly.
But ran a apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade and when I rebooted
the keyboard and mouse quit working and I could not login.
the laptop was still up and I could still ssh into the laptop but the
mouse and keyboard did not work on gdm login screen.
when I ssh into the laptop and stop gdm the console does work and I can
type commands at the login prompt.
