OS: Xubuntu Jaunty. Tested with 'nv' and 'nouveau' drivers.
With certain GTK themes (Human, MurrinaStormCloud, maybe others) X
process uses 27-30% CPU. With other themes (like Redmond, Xfce-4.4) it
shows normal CPU usage (3-5%).
