Binary package hint: kmix
As dumb as this sounds I spent a bit of time checking cables trying to
figure out why I wasn't getting any sound out of my speakers when I was
playing a song in Amarok. I knew everything was working the day before.
It finally occurred to me that I had turned down the volume via the kmix
tray icon when I got a call the day before.
It would be awesome if when the volume was turned down completely that
the kmix icon in the tray would change to show it's status. For example
the icon could become a speaker with a red slash through it. I don't
know how difficult it would be to do that, but it would be really
helpful.
