What Lars said, it did not crash, it was just not able to connect to the
server anymore (probably because it was loaded to heavily). Please try
again a bit later, the files are safe.

Upgrading to 9.04 went for 7 hours, then crashed. Apparently the downloaded
files are saved, so it's a matter of restarting the fetch.
