Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.17-10-generic
On plugging in the DVB tuner USB box identified as "Artec T1 USB1.1 TVBOX with AN2235" by the kernel, many messages of the form "Bulk message failed: -22" are reported. This is apparently due to an array- index typo (in the kernel source file ..../drivers/media/dvb/dvb-usb /dibusb-mb.h), see: http://www.mail-archive.com/linux- [EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg18832.html for a thorough description and patch from someone more knowledgeable on kernel internals than I. I downloaded the vanilla 2.6.19 sources and the patch seems to be in there already, I was wondering if it could be back-ported or if there's a newer pre-release ubuntu kernel that I could try that may have the patch already (I don't really want to go down the self-compilation route for a 1-line patch). -Shaun ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.17 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Artec T1 USB1.1 TVBOX with AN2235 - Bulk message failed: -22 https://launchpad.net/bugs/78949 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
