A dated laptop Pentium 266 (256MB) IBM iSeries model 2611-450 (yenta bridge)
cannot load Broadcom b43 driver firmware (because unavailable ) so networking
initialization phase cannot complete
Looking for override.
Is there Any workaround for adding the firmware on the fly (during the
install sequence)?
I should say I was running 8.10 with CardBus PCMCIA b43 HW but I did not
install 8.10 with
b43 HW (I added the card later). So when I go to 9.04 it does not seem to
support it directly from
within the install sequence framework. It loads the driver but cannot load the
firmware.
