I have a an ACER as well.. ACER Ferrari 3400. This was not the case until edgy and the last update. I am actually going to run some basic disk check tonight and smartmon to see if something is wrong with my disk
I don t usually have IO until I started to watched with mpstat yesterday. I am not sure which process yet but something seems to trigger a high IO (I suspect Xorg..) Again this was not an issue until the last patch on the kernel/Xorg 3 days ago from the ubuntu official Edgy release Thanks Emmanuel On 1/12/07, Surricani <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > What hardware have you got? > > I have similar problem with an acer aspire 1362LM.
