** Description changed:

When trying to install a bunch of Applications on a fresh Ubuntu 9.04
Jaunty Jackalope stable i386 installation; using the Add/Remove
  application showing ALL applications available
  (supported,restricted,thirdparty etc), after selecting/checking more
- than one application and searching for others under the category "All"
- it won't display any results even though the same application exists
- while searching for it under it's defined category (For example
- searching Firefox under ALL won't display anything yet would display
- results when searching under the category Internet) and it hangs/loads
- slowly after selecting/checking some more applications, even at times
- not showing results at all (Even though I already selected/checked a
- certain application, when I search for it again it shows 0 results as if
- it doesn't exist although when I try to close the Add/remove program, it
- says if I want to apply the changes and install the applications,
- discard them or cancel)
+ than 4 applications from a list and searching for others under the
+ category "All" it won't display any results even though the same
+ application exists while searching for it under it's defined category
+ (For example searching Firefox under ALL won't display anything yet
