My apologies for not catching this at the time.
I did go back and start over, but when I got to
the mount point assignments, the screen was
showing incorrect devices.  (/dev/hdb5 and
/dev/hdb6 were switched and /dev/hdb5 showed
as 6GB but it was actually 510MB, and the
opposite for /dev/hdb6)

Since I had already reinstalled my windows
partition next to the ext3 partitions, I did not
want to re-partition and I was worried about
going forward, too.

However, I think what I needed to do was to
obtain the alternate CD, because I am trying
to install on my secondary hard disk.  I want
to leave the master boot record on my primary
hard disk untouched.

I apologize again for not being able to
follow through.
