Binary package hint: notification-daemon
After an upgrade from Intrepid to Jaunty, the new style notifications
are not evident. When I run 'notification-properties', and choose
'Preview', the following error is reported in a dialog:
Error while displaying notification: Message did not receive a reply
(timeout by message bus)
Notifications from Rythmbox and Pidgin show the same behaviour as with
Intrepid.
Ubuntu 9.04
Package name notification-demon 0.4.0-0ubuntu3. (I think).
