I think I have found the source of my problems: it seems the plugin was updated incorrectly. When checking in Synaptic, I found that the package adobe-flashplugin (with the same version as flashplugin-nonfree) was not installed, so I did it manually. After this the problem was solved. Then I checked about:plugins and found that the following plugins were installed: Shockwave Flash 10.0 r22 Shockwave Flash 10.0 b218 Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124
I also remembered then that I installed a early version of the flashplugin 10.0 without package manager because I had some problems with version 9 by then. And this version seems to be broken with the new version of firefox while it wasn't updated. So most probably a misconfiguration on my system was the problem. -- firefox crashes on closing pages with flash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/363686 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
