** Description changed:
checkbox (System -> Administration -> System Testing) fails to start for
systems that have been upgraded from intrepid.
TESTCASE:
run checkbox-gtk; on failure, a python traceback will occur, ending with:
dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied:
Connection ":1.39" is not allowed to own the service "com.ubuntu.checkbox" due
to security policies in the configuration file
Workaround:
- In /etc/checkbox/checkbox.ini, manually add
+ In /etc/checkbox.d/checkbox.ini, manually add
blacklist = backend_manager
underneath the section heading [checkbox/plugins]
