_I_ think the issues is actually caused by kubuntu-members-kde4, which
includes amarok 2 as well as KDE 4.2, so amarok probably pulls in KDE.

Now, if amarok is installed and an upgrade doesn't get issued with apt-get 
dist-upgrade which would resolve the KDE stack over any other, since the former 
is in most cases the bigger stack (unless you got like 300 plasmoids 
installed)... anyway, simply put: half the stack is 4.2 and the other is 4.1, 
reactivating kubuntu-memers-kde4 and issuing dist-upgrade should resolve the 
problem.
So should using -backports, which is prefereable because it is supporting more 
upgrade paths than the -kde4 versions.
