Kubuntu 9.04 AMD64 final Seagate FreeAgent USB drive formated ext3 ASUS M4A78T-E motherboard
If I leave the USB drive plugged in while system is booting, it does not appear in Dolphin or in the system tray icon showing removable media. Disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable or cycling the power to the USB drive fixes this situation. While not recognized by Dolphin, I ran lsusb: Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0bc2:3001 Seagate RSS LLC So it appears the motherboard see it, reports it to the kernel, but KDE isn't picking it up. Not sure this is the same bug or not. -- USB HD do not mount in 2.6.28-11 kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/346238 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
