Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kpackagekit

Description: Ubuntu 9.04
Release: 9.04

kpackagekit:
  Installed: 0.4-0ubuntu8
  Candidate: 0.4-0ubuntu8
  Version table:

As a normal user (not root), I want to install some package, search for
it, then add it. When I click in Apply it should ask the root password
and then install, but instead it gives the error following error without
asking for password:

Failed to install package
