Thank you for your help in getting the updated verson into Feisty! By the way, I noticed an interesting anomaly in the build log of the PPC version (http://librarian.launchpad.net/5420835/buildlog_ubuntu-feisty-powerpc.avidemux_1%3A2.3.0-0.0ubuntu1_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz): --- SNIP --- GTK+ version : 2.10.6 Divx5.0.5 ? : yes *** DISABLED *** Xvid 0.9 Codec : no Xvid 1.0 Codec : yes x264 encoder c : yes Mad decoder : yes OSS : yes ALSA : yes SDL : yes Xvideo : yes Lame : yes Ogg Vorbis : yes Aften ac3 encoder : no Faad2(decoder) : yes Faac (encoder) : yes A52/AC3 : yes libdca : no FFMPEG : yes ESD : yes aRTs : yes FreeType : yes FontConfig : yes XML2 : yes locale : ${datarootdir}/locale Little endian cpu : no AMD64 : no Altivec : no PPC : no X86 : 0 MacOsX(Darwin) : no Cygwin : no Gcc supports vectors: yes Debug : 0 --- SNIP --- Note how all the architectures are marked as "no" even though this is a PowerPC build. Perhaps that's why the build failed? Other successful builds (e.g. AMD64) seem to detect the CPU type.
