I tried to reproduce this but it was working for me. Could you please run (in a
terminal):
$ ps afx > /tmp/pstree
and attach the pstree file so that we can see what processes are running when
the hang happens.
When you changed server I should ask if you want to reload the package
information. Did you select "yes" there or "no"?
