I decided to see if I could get the nmap package from the repository
manually.  I went to http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty. I needed to
track down prerequisite packages and when I got to
http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/python/python-gnome2-extras, it
requires libgda3-3 and libgda3-common. However libgda4-4/common is what
got installed with the O/S
