Hi Guys, There are a few things that would be good to test here. First, if you're running the 2.6.27 Intrepid kernel try installing linux- backports-modules-intrepid as I believe it should contain an updated compate-wireless stack. Additionally, if you test the linux-backports- modules-intrepid package in intrepid-proposed it'll contain and updated compat-wireless stack as of master-2009-03-04 - https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-backports-modules-2.6.27 .
I would also like to point out that the final Jaunty Jackalop 9.04 release is now available - http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download . If the issue remains with Intrepid, please test Jaunty. Similar to Intrepid, the linux-backports-modules-jaunty package also contains and updated compat-wireless stack as of master-2009-03-24 - https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-backports-modules-2.6.28 Thanks, and please let us know your results. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- iwl3945 disabling issue via software https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248321 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
