Public bug reported:

Hello,

I upgraded from 8.10 with my eee pc 1000ha, and I have to say 9.04 is
almost unusable. It as bad as windows now... did you guys even test it
with a eee pc 1000h? It says it's supported on the site, but I have to
say it doesn't look that way.....

Anyway... I don't have time to downgrade...... so please fix this
ASAP..... I CAN'T TAKE IT ANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!

Here's everything that goes wrong:

1. System is very slow. Just typing in gedit is frustrating. There's a 1 sec
delay from what I type and what shows up on screen.
2. Applications don't properly function. While chatting on pidgin, some text
does not show up on screen. On some programs, clicking on buttons are
unresponsive.
3. System freezes frequently. For example I had firefox, songbird and gedit
running, of which all three froze and darkened.
4. Moving any window on screen is jumpy.
5. It can't last a day without crashing (frozen to the point you can't even
shut down)

All these problems only became present with 9.04. With 8.10 none of
these problems were present.

Also while you're at it, the eee pc come with a feature to speed things
up (one of the 4 upper left buttons); can you guys add that in along
with other features?

Thanks
