Andreas please try adding sisfb to /etc/modules to solve this issue.

== /etc/modules ==
fuse
lp
sisfb
== ==

It's working for me at the moment, I have rebooted multiple times and I
don't ge the fuzz or the yellowish colors any longer and i get a much
better resolution. I have also specified the driver to be used in
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.

== /etc/X11/xorg.conf ==
Section "Device"
        Identifier      "Video Device"
        Driver          "sis"
EndSection

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier      "Configured Monitor"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
        Identifier      "Default Screen"
        Monitor         "Configured Monitor"
        Device          "Video Device"
EndSection
