Michael, Here are the log files. I'm assuming you only need the top-level files; if you also need the files from sub-directories 200904270926 and 200904270927, please let me know.
Here's a little more info about the problem. First of all, I suspect that despite the error message (see the final attachment) saying that the upgrade had failed, the system actually has been upgraded to 9.04. I say this because the splash screen has changed, Amarok has been replace by Amarok 2, and there is no sound (that usually happens when I upgrade Ubuntu). Finally, every time I log in I get an error box saying that indexing has failed.
