Hi Sebastien There are only the following:
Ubuntu 8.04.1 Kernel 2.6 24-19-1pia and Ubuntu 8.04.1 Kernel 2.6 24-29-1pia (Recovery Mode) I tried to play a tune again. Below is the message I received. The volume control did not find any elements and/or devices to control. This means either that you don't have the right GStreamer plugins installed, or that you don't have a sound card configured. Regards Abraham You can remove the volume control from the panel by right-clicking the speaker icon on the panel and selecting "Remove From Panel" from the menu.-----Original Message----- From: Sebastien Bacher <[email protected]> Reply-To: Bug 333407 <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: [Bug 333407] Re: toshiba netbook ubuntu certified sound & video player not working Date: Tue, 28 Apr 2009 08:57:22 +0000 when booting you have a some second to hit esc on the keyboard and get the boot menu displayed, take an old linux version in that list -- toshiba netbook ubuntu certified sound & video player not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/333407 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
