Xorg malfunctions, also, on my other HP 1160 PC AMD64 with Nvidia GeForce FX53200XT graphics and Ubuntu 9.04 Release. As per a previous Bug report, the monitor , a Samsung 193v, is reported as Display "Unknown" and the resolution settings cannot be changed. It seems, unfortunately, that, since the Ubuntu 7.10 Release, Xorg misbehaves. The many updates, instead of correcting the problems, have made them worse. Yours, Gaetano Arena
