OK I just tried following the instructions and this is what I was able to come up with.
I did indeed try to save a reoccurring event and the calendar froze up solid and I had to do a force quit. It will do this every time. I cannot even click on anything in the calendar section with out the freeze until I delete the .ics file that caused it. Am I doing something wrong to produce the file you need? Any help would be appreciated.
