This is still present in lyx 1.6.2-1 on jaunty. There is no icon for LyX files,
no matter whether they are compressed or not.
Mime type for compressed documents:
% file -i test.lyx
test.lyx: application/x-gzip
For uncompressed documents:
% file -i test.lyx
test.lyx: text/x-tex
Gnome shows the correct mime type in the properties dialog:
LyX document (application/x-lyx)
Why does this differ?
