Not sure if the last bit about testing Jaunty was seen in the previous
comment. . .The most recent Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 release is now
available - http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download . If the issue
remains, please run the following from a terminal
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/KernelTeamBugPolicies).

apport-collect -p linux-image-`uname -r` 164721

Additionally this seems like it might be and issue which exists in the
usptream kernel. The Ubuntu kernel team has started packaging upstream
kernel builds for testing. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds
. I'd suggest testing the 2.6.29.2 stable kernel as well as the latest
2.6.30-rc3 release candidate. If the issue exists with the upstream
kernels it's something that should likely be reported ti the upstream
devs as well.

I'm also going to close the Fedora bug watch as it does not appear to
have a reference bug #. Thanks.
