Hi Rufio, this doesn't seem to be a Ubuntu/Debian specific bug, so it will probably not fixed by us. To get the bug fix, you should report it upstream, at the OpenTTD project itself: http://bugs.openttd.org.
I would have forwarded the bug myself, but your report does not specify enough information to have any chance of fixing it. The best chance of fixing this would be to have a savegame that will show the crash (such as the autosave just before the crash), or a sequence of steps to take to reproduce it. Other interesting questions are, what were you doing just before the crash? Are there any AI players involved, etc.http://www.openttd.org/en/download-stable Lastly, upstream has already released 0.7.0, so it is not unlikely that this bug has already been fixed there. You could try downloading the 0.7.0 .deb file from http://www.openttd.org/en/download-stable (I guess the Debian-lenny version is likely to work) and see if the bug still occurs there.
